This year’s theme is “For Such a Time” as this where it comes from the book of Esther in the Old Testament of the Bible where Mordecai and his niece who is queen, Esther are conversing back and forth through a messenger and one of the messages, he states:
“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
Esther 4: 14 NIV
Mordecai and Esther just found out that their people, the Jews, were in trouble and she had a decision to make to help save her people of which she did! It reminds us that we are put in a position that God wants us to help save the unborn, or adopt, or be a foster parent, or be a support for the local pregnancy center, etc.
